FAQ's

1. What is your return policy?

If you order one of our products and you have any problem whatsoever, just email us at info@tinyteethers.ca and we'll get you sorted right away. Additionally, if you head to our contact page, we have a form you can fill out that will be emailed to us.

2. Where do you get your silicone and wooden beads from?

All silicone beads, and I mean ALL are sourced from China. Not all silicone beads are created equal, which is why we use only two sources. I (Tara, the owner) have personally visited these factories twice. I also have safety certificates for our beads as well.

Some of our wooden beads are beech wood, sourced from China and used in our rattles and teething rings. Our mini pacifier clips use maple wood, sourced from the USA.

3. Why are some of your pacifier clips made with wood and others with silicone?

In an attempt to always improve our products, I started out in January 2019 to have a new clip designed. My vision was to have a silicone clip with plastic embedded in it resulting in fewer moving parts and no metal or screws. We don't recommend babies teething on the wooden clip, but let's face it, they chew on everything. Now, with our silicone clip, they can! You can also wash it in warm or hot water, unlike our wooden clip. We were going to do away with the wooden clip completely, but some of our customers and retailers reached out and asked us to keep them, it's a beautiful organic look, we get it. So the decision was made to keep the wood, but all wooden pacifier clips are made by me, so that it goes through a thorough inspection first. All clips that are for sale at Walmart are made at our factory in China (the same one we've been to twice), and they are made with the silicone clips.

4. Why are some of your products made in Canada, while others are made in China?

Good question! We try to be as transparent as possible in our listings about where our products are made. So if you purchase our products at Walmart in Canada or in any big box store, they are made in China. Unfortunately, I can't keep up with that kind of volume. If you purchase our products anywhere else, that means your favorite boutique baby store, Amazon or from me, the products have been hand made by myself in Canada.

5. How do I clean my pacifier clip/teether?

Our wooden pacifier clips can be wiped with a damp cloth. Please do not submerge the wooden clip in water or put it in the dishwasher or sterilizer. The beaded strand can be washed in hot soapy water and towel dried.

6. How do I clean my teething necklace?

Same as our pacifier clips, you can wash them in hot soapy water and towel dry. Please do not put your teething necklace in the dishwasher or sterilizer.

7. How do I clean my wooden products?

Our wooden products are left untreated. You can wipe them with a damp cloth. Please do not submerge in water or put any wooden product in your dishwasher or sterilizer. If you would like me to treat the wood before we ship, I have a homemade beeswax and jojoba oil balm that I can use. We also sell this conditioning balm.

8. How quickly do you ship orders?

We ship our orders within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed on Friday are shipped Monday (sorry no daycare on that day!)

9. How are orders shipped?

We ship using Canada Post. We have some items with free shipping within Canada, but no tracking number. Both tracked and non tracked items take about 2-6 days to deliver. Items to the USA typically take between 4-6 days to arrive and finally, international orders take about 4-7 days.
